Welcome to the website of the 10th Biennial Conference on Procrastination Research.
DePaul University’s College of Science and Health & Psychology Department is hosting the 10th Procrastination Research Conference from July 13 -14, 2017, at the DePaul University O’Hare Campus in Chicago, IL, USA.
Join a global community of researchers devoted to the study and aspects of Procrastination. Procrastination repeatedly is identified as an unhelpful behavioral tendency across various walks of life. Understanding this phenomenon through empirical studies conducted by world-wide researchers bares great importance for diminishing or limiting the negative consequences and identifying potential causal factors.
Researchers and practitioners have gathered for 20 years to understand the causes, consequences, and “cures” of procrastination. For the first time, this international meeting will be held in Chicago, IL, USA (only the second time the meeting has been held in the United States) bringing together scholars presenting numerous state-of-the-art studies.
We invite ALL scholars interested in presenting a research-based Oral Paper and/or Poster to this meeting.
Within the psychology field, submissions on clinical, cognitive, community, developmental, health, industrial-organizational, personality, physiological, social, and other related areas are invited. This meeting also invites colleagues from behavioral economics, management, and commerce to join social/behavioral scientists to explore this global phenomena called PROCRASTINATION.
Thanks, Joe Ferrari
